Waterjet Cutting
Waterjet cutting has gained prominence in recent years for its ability to provide precise, clean, and affordable cuts on an expansive range of materials. Waterjet cutting originated with thin streams of water delivered through a nozzle at high pressure for cutting soft items like paper. As the industry developed, higher pressure water pumps were developed, and abrasives were introduced into the water stream to facilitate the cutting of harder materials.
